Ok, I've been thinking.... and I seriously think I must be a Christmas Elf! wink emoticon
Because...
*I believe in Santa
*I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Christmas time
*My nickname (since childhood) is Twinkle Toes.. because I'm always dancing around and singing
*I love winter and snow
*I listen to Christmas music all year long, whenever I feel like it
*I love cookies ( I really love cookies)
*I make really good cocoa
*I smile and laugh a lot
*I like to spread cheer and give freely to see others smile
*I love to wrap presents and make pretty bows
*I love to decorate and love Christmas lights
*Right now I have jingle bells hanging from my furry boots
*I often have flecks of silver sparkles on my cheeks ( ok, it's just glitter from crafting, but still... lol)
*My home looks like a workshop with all the craft supplies I own ( just ask hubby)
*I get to make dolls ALL YEAR LONG... just like Santa's Elves do.. (And how awesome is that!)

*oh.. and Santas Reindeer like to visit our home often!

Well.. today was a productive day after all!  It didn't start out that way, but gained momentum as it went along!  I got my email mailing list mostly complete ( whew!) I designed a promotional email for the mailing list AND I got a lot of wooden bases and boxes all painted and sanded for some snowmen I'll be making soon. Also got three pumpkin dolls boxed and ready to ship to their new homes tomorrow and 3 more pumpkin dolls ( my last ones for this year) listed on Etsy! Not too bad!! Tomorrow I'm back to creating more snowmen :-)

hmmmm I can't decide!! Do you like her better "Smiling" or "Not Smiling"

I made this adorable Stumpkin Pumpkin Doll from a pattern by Sweet Meadows Farm... I can't decide which way I like her better! I think she's cute both ways :-D  I love her little twig stem and wire vines !!

Emmyth The Elf has A Wife!

This is little Emmyth The Elf...  And his new Elfin wife Eullabell! A lot of folks ask me how I came up with the names for these little Elves... it was a team effort! I created  the dolls and my hubby gave them their names :-)
There's been some Elfin whispers that there may be a baby Elf on the way! <3

I have my sewing 'Cut out' for me!

This is what my dining room table looked like last week!  I had all the parts for 20 Mr Freezy snowmen all cut out and laid out waiting to be sewn ( that's 20 body's, 20 hat brims, 20 hat tops, 40 arms, 40 mittens and 40 feet!) I have everything sewn except the arms! That'll get finished sometime next week!

I love happy little Elves!

Sitting here getting my morning started, having my morning cup of tea and thinking about the little "Emmyth The Christmas Elf" Dolls I'll be working on today to fill some of my orders.

I created him a few weeks ago and I really love how he turned out! It's fun to use other peoples patterns because ya pretty much know what it's gonna look like when your done and that it'll be cute, but I always get extra excited when it's one of my own designs and it turns out really cute cause getting it from my imagination into doll form just the way I want it isn't always easy! I'm so glad I made a template for him as I went along creating him :-D I just may have to make him a little Elfette girlfriend  to keep him company :-D

Just started building some OOAK Snowmen! I love how they are turning out! I have SO many ideas for them! This fella is called "By Lantern Light". He's already in his new home!
I already have another one in mind that's kind of similar in theme. I think what I like about this one is the warm feeling it gives me.... I envision a dark, cold snowy night in the country, a father had bundled up against the cold and gone out to chop down a Christmas tree to bring home for the family to decorate. It got dark quickly and started to snow again and the father, with his chosen tree in hand, had to use his old trusty lantern that his father gave to him when he was a little boy to help light and guide his way home. <3
